Amanda Johnson

Johnson, Amanda Lee, 81, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, August 26, with her husband by her side in their home. Her death was from the result of brain concussions two years ago.
She was born in Saginaw Michigan, on April 8, 1936, the only child of Otis and Joye Grant. Amanda graduated from Middletown High School in 1955 and attended Miami University. She worked at WPFB radio station and Wren Paper Company before her marriage to Ken, November 14, 1965.
Amanda was a past member of the Middletown Garden Club. She had a love of flowers and tended to her beautiful gardens around her home. Amanda was an avid reader and she had her own personnel library that she enjoyed.
She is survived and sadly missed by her beloved husband of 51 years, Kenneth. She had many nieces and nephews that cared and loved
her. Private services at Arpp & Root Funeral Home will be held at the convenience of the family. Mausoleum Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
