MILLER, A.W. (Bill) age 71 of Farmersville passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton after a short illness. He was preceded in by his parents, Arthur and Anna Miller and his daughter, Eleanor. He is survived by his wife Sally and son Kurt (Linda) Miller currently of Heidelberg, Germany serving in the US Army; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Anna and Reed; brother Kenneth (Margaret) Miller of Germantown and sister Phyllis (Bob) Johnson of Cincinnati, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill graduated from Germantown High School; he was a US Army Veteran and member of the second Army and Colorado State Rifle Teams. He went on to be a successful tradesman ultimately retiring as the Vice President of Manufacturing at Auto Valve, Inc. After his retirement from Auto Valve, Bill established and operated A.W. Miller Tool, a specialty tooling and manufacturing business. He was a 25 year member of the Farmersville Rotary Club serving in numerous leadership positions. A memorial service will be held at the Farmersville United Methodist Church, 110 W. Center St. Farmersville, Ohio on Sunday July 6th at 2:00 P.M; Pastor Larry Lindstrom and Rev. Patty Matthews officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Eleanor Miller Scholarship Fund c/o the Farmersville Rotary Club or Hospice of Dayton.
