Carla Faye Hale

Carla Faye Hale, age 74 of Germantown, OH passed away peacefully at Kettering Medical Center on March 23, 2024 surrounded by her family whom she loved unconditionally. She was born in Riverside, MI to the late Carl and Lillie (Oldham) Head and met her husband of nearly 53 years, Bob Hale on a blind date in Georgia when she was just 22. Carla loved her homestead, caring for her African Violets, ducks, dogs, and various pets. She was a member of Emmanuel's Lutheran Church in Germantown, enjoyed dancing, especially line dancing, and was a member of the African Violet Club. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Ginger Hale, and her brothers Ronald and Bobby Head. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Robert "Bob" Hale, her daughter Abigail Hale-Dennis and her husband Todd, her grandchildren Elijah Dennis and Lenneia Hale-Barker, sister in law Sandy Head, and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 5-6pm at Emmanuel's Lutheran Church, 30 W. Warren St., Germantown OH 45327 with a memorial service beginning at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, 1661 Nicholas Rd. Dayton OH 45417.
