Lamb, David L. "Jake", age 76 of Germantown passed away at his home on May 16, 2018. He was born in Germantown, OH to the late Maurice and Dorothy (Crigler) Lamb. After graduating from Germantown High School in 1959 David enlisted in the US Army and after serving his country he was a heavy equipment operator, a truck driver, worked at Frigidaire and then as a carpenter. David enjoyed restoring old cars and tractors, mushroom hunting and vegetable gardening, coon hunting with his dogs as well as rabbit and squirrel hunting. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Nicole Lamb in 1977 and his grandson Mark Jr. in 2012. He is survived by his sons Mark and Scot Lamb, his brother Doug Lamb, his 3 sisters Sandra McKinney, Barbara Carr, and Janet Anderson, his grandchildren Brandon Lamb, Chassidy Brandle, and great grandchildren Ethan and Sydnie Brandle. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family and their prayers are that he may rest in peace. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 12:00pm at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home in downtown historic Germantown with Pastor Earl Wilcher officiating, interment immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday beginning at 10:00am.
