Dewayne R. Spadafora, age 79, of Germantown passed away Friday March 1, 2013 at Kingston of Miamisburg. He was born in Fairbury Nebraska, and was employed for 26 years at the Mound Laboratory and 9 years at Fernald.. Dewayne was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Evelyn, daughters Delinda (Bill) Rillo; Jackie (Fred) Guntle; Denise (Mike) Minge and Alice Pau; brother Marvin Spadafora; sisters Betty Schreek and Marjorie Delany, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In his earlier years he was very active with the Farmersville United Church of Christ where is served as Elder. Dewayne was a veteran on the U.S. Navy. He loved working at Mound and enjoyed all his fellow co workers. Dewayne enjoyed hunting with his sons in law Mike and Fred, grandsons Mike and Greg. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m Tuesday at the Farmersville U.C.C. 42 S. Broadway St., Farmersville, Pastor Susan Hartman officiating, Burial Holp Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10:00 -11:00 a.m. (1 hr. prior to service) Tuesday at the Church. The family would like to thank Kinston Nursing Home and Crossroads Hospice for all the kindness shown Dewayne. He will be missed by all.
