Eddie McKinney

Eddie McKinney, age 78 of Carlisle, OH, formerly of Miamisburg, OH passed away on Saturday, November 2nd at Carlisle Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Dayton, OH to the late Lucian and Edna (Gilbert) McKinney and attended Miamisburg High School. Eddie was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving in the Vietnam War. After his military service, he worked at Concrete Tech in Springboro before retiring and then he worked and retired from Middletown tubing. Eddie enjoyed taking motorcycle rides, looking at old cars and fishing. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Sandara (Lamb) McKinney, his brother Ben Mckinney, and sister Judy Lewis. He is survived by his step children Michele Witt and Ben McKinney as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 12-1pm at the Arpp, Root and Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, funeral services will begin at 1:00pm with interment and military honors to follow at Germantown Union Cemetery.
