Edith Sexton

Edith Rose Sexton, age 95 of Miamisburg, formerly of Middletown, OH passed away peacefully on December 26, 2023 at Legacy of Miamisburg. She was born in Turner Station, KY to the late William and Ethel (Dunaway) Mitchell, was a member of Union Chapel Church in Germantown, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Along with her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her son Joseph Edward Sexton, her brothers Rollie, Tommy and Bob Mitchell, her sisters Ruth McClellan and Dorothy Adcock, and half brother Ben Hunter. Edith is survived by her children William Sexton of Waddy, KY, Larry (Carol) Sexton of Paducah, KY, Jerrold Sexton (Middletown, OH), her sister Evelyn (Paul) Leaf of Greenfield, IN, daughter-in-law Joan Sexton of New London, OH, 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Edith will be laid to rest next to her husband, Joe on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at 1:00pm at a graveside service at Germantown Union Cemetery.
