Elaine Briggs

Elaine Pearl Briggs age 78, of Franklin, passed away Friday October 21, 2016 at her residence. Elaine was born in Miamisburg, OH the daughter of the late George and Reva (Davis) Condon. She owned and operated the Elaine Beauty Salon in Middletown for over 53 years. She enjoyed roller skating and taught skating at Romar Skating Rink, loved riding motorcycles with her husband and enjoyed fishing at Lake Cumberland. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jennifer Lynn. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Elmer, a son Chris Briggs (Mel),    daughters Tammy Hanauer (David) and Andrea Thorn. Special friends John Marker, Cody Blackford, and Michelle Miller, 6 grandchildren; Taylor Briggs (Morgan), Keely Briggs, Cameryn Briggs, Misty Hanauer, Jessica Thorn & Megan Thorn.  2 great grandchildren; Jayce Briggs and Caradee Briggs. Funeral Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday October 25, 2016 at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home Germantown. Rev. Frank Nation officiating. Burial Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 11:30 -1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
