Elwanda Pearson

Elwanda Pearson, age 83 of Miamisburg, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 in her home. Elwanda was born in Estill Co. Kentucky, the daughter of the late Vernon and Nannie (Dunaway) Thomas. She is also preceded in death by her husband Therman Pearson, brothers Raymond, Eugene, Jennings, Vernon, Harry Thomas Sr. & sister Dorothy Massie. She is survived by daughters Pam Pearson and Linda (Jeff) Cummins, sisters Marcella Saylor, Joyce Chambers and Sue Johnson, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday March 17, 2015 at Arpp & Root, Germantown. Burial Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, 70 Birch Alley Suite 240 Beavercreek, Ohio 45440.
