Emmert Michael

Emmert L. Michael, age 90 of Farmersville, passed away Tuesday February 5, 2013 at his residence. Emmert was the son of the late Harvy and Nettie(Wolf) Michael He was a lifelong Farmer and Operating Engineer in the Farmersville and Jefferson Twp. area.  Emmert was a Veteran of the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a life member of the N.R.A., Farm Bureau and was the founder of the E L M Lake Gun Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Ralph and Robert. He is survived by his wife Kathryn E. (Baker) Michael, sons Brian (Melanny), Kenneth (Lynette) and Gary ( Renee); daughters Polly (Norman) Freeze and Rebecca (Pat) Jonas, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday February 9, 2013 at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home Germantown, Pastor Patti Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Holp Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. The family suggest if so desired  plant a tree in memory of Emmert  or donate to the charity of your choice.
