Boyer, Emory M. Jr., "Butch", age 78 of Germantown, OH passed away peacefully on the evening of February 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Dayton, OH to the late Emory Sr. and Velda (Quillen) Boyer, graduated from Germantown High school and was a US Army Veteran (1st Calvary). Butch was known by many as the local junk man, he retired from Ro-Lin farms, enjoyed hunting and going to muzzle loading and rifle competitions, he loved muscle and classic cars and was a civil war enthusiast. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Craig Boyer. He is survived by his children Angela Boyer (Matt) and Lance Boyer (Yolanda), grandchildren Skylah, Jaxx, Chloe, Trentyn and Kayda, his brothers Ronald (Audery) Boyer, Rick (Tracy) Boyer, Fred (Elaine) Boyer, his sister Cindy (Steve) Dalton, 8 nieces and nephews and numerous extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 10:00AM at Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, OH with Pastor Brad Herbst officiating. Interment immediately following at Ellerton Cemetery in Moraine. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
