Eugene Ridenour

Ridenour, Eugene D., age 104 of Germantown passed away April 9, 2016 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County.  He was born to the late George and Nettie (Rapp) Ridenour in German Township in 1911.  Gene worked as an auctioneer, realtor, and farmer, was a member of I.O.O.F. Germantown and loved to carve things out of wood, especially rocking chairs.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maude in 1997.  He is survived by his son Lloyd Ridenour from Germantown, and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be Friday, April 15, 2016 at 1:00PM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. Germantown with Pastor Andy Powell officiating, interment immediately following at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH.  The family will receive friends on Thursday April 14, 2016 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Butler & Warren County, 5940 Long Meadow Dr.  Middletown, OH  45005.
