Flora Stiver

Stiver, Flora L., age 77 of Germantown passed away peacefully at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties on January 13, 2021. She was born in Franklin, OH to the late Rollie and Geneva (Glenn) Azbill, graduated from Franklin High School, and worked as a cook at Kettering Medical Center where she retired after 30 years. Flora enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and was by nature one who loved serving and helping others, one of which was her husband Sonny that she loved and cared for after her retirement. Along with her parents, Flora was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Peyton Barnhart, her brothers Alvin, Charles, and Jimmy Azbill and her sister Rosemary Azbill. She is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Walter (Sonny) Stiver, her children Jeannie Reese, Wally Stiver, Kelly (Julie) Stiver, Jodi (Scott Gulley) Stiver, her grandchildren Jennifer (Jake) Linebaugh, Cody Bacher, Sunny Reese, Kristen Reese, Kayla Stiver, Kayle Lister, 10 great grandchildren, her brothers Dale and Glenn Azbill, sisters Faye Disher and Nancy Azbill, and numerous extended friends and family who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, OH with interment immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00PM.
