Keister, Freeda M., age 91, of Germantown, OH passed away at Sycamore Hospital on December 24, 2014. She was born June 29, 1923 in Morgan County, Kentucky to the late Mort and Celina Nickell. Freeda’s motto was to "pray, mow, sew, and go,” which she did often. She loved taking part in AGLOW, singing and dancing on Thursday with a group of friends in Middletown, and being a part of the Regal Red Hatters of Germantown. Freeda always had a smile on her face and loved people, she was never selfish with her time and spent a lot of it visiting friends in their homes, nursing homes, and hospitals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest in 1990, loving brothers, sisters, and other family members. She is survived by her 3 daughters Freda (Gerald) Emrick of Germantown, Brenda (Chris) Boggs of Germantown, Sandy (Mike) Taulbee of Camden; 2 sons, Greg (Tina) Keister of Kaysville, UT, and Kevin (Lisa) Keister of Germantown; 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends on Monday December 29 from 6-8pm at St. John’s United Church of Christ 201 W. Market St. Germantown where funeral services will also be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10:30am, interment at Germantown Union Cemetery in Germantown, OH.
