Gary Linville

Gary Robert Linville, Age 61 of Camden, OH passed away August 26, 2023 at his home due to a Gliomablastoma brain tumor which was diagnosed on June 29, 2023. Gary was born January 13, 1962 in Dayton, OH to the late to Alice E (King) Lawson and William Robert Linville. He went to elementary school at Valley View and Miamisburg City schools before attending Montgomery County Vocational school, graduating in 1980.

Gary worked for several area farmers such as Holtzmullers in Farmersville, and Koenig equipment in Germantown. Gary then worked for the City of Middletown where he mainly worked on the fire trucks and medics, which he loved. He retired in 2007 due to a back injury and on Dec. 26, 2012 underwent a triple heart bypass surgery.

Along with his parents, Gary was also preceded in death by his sister Karen Brandon.

He is survived by his wife Sheila Gayle Linville of Camden, OH, his daughter Jennifer Leigh( Justin) McKee of Blanchard, OK, and his son Daniel Robert Linville of Norman, OK. His grandchildren Hailey Dawne, Justin Taylor and Isabella LeiAnne McKee of Blanchard, OK. Luke Robert Linville of Norman, OK, his sister Sy (Donald) Fry of Miamisburg along with several nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5-7PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, funeral services will begin at 7:00pm with Pastor Richard Studebaker officating.
