Gary Lee Short

Gary Lee Short, age 71 of Middletown, OH passed away at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties on July 8, 2022. He was born in Middletown, OH to the late Gilbert and Treva (Ferguson) Short, graduated from Middletown High School Class of 1969 and then went onto earn his Bachelors degree from Miami University class of 1974. Gary loved his family and spending time with his children, grandchildren. Gary also enjoyed grilling and traveling, especially to the Smokey Mountains and Myrtle Beach. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Donna Pitts and his nephew Adam Hacker. Gary is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Cathy (Cassidy) Short, his children Gary Lee (Hannah) Short, II, Christopher Ryan (Lindsay) Short, Samantha Short (Clayton), grandchildren Willow, Koa, Aiden, Lily, Ellie, his grand-dog Goose, and special friends Duane and Sharon Rutherford. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 2-4PM at the Breiel Blvd Church of God, 2000 N Breiel Blvd, Middletown OH 45042.
