Gene E. Blankenship

Blankenship, Gene E. age 73, of Farmersville,  passed away Monday September 24, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. Gene was born in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Paul and Iano (Strader) Blankenship. He was retired from Delphi and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Gladys  a daughter Sharon Wasson and sister Betty Lamb.   He is survived by a daughter Shelia (Danny) Cales of Farmersville, grandson Eddie (Tiffany) Wasson of Miamisburg, great granddaughter Tristen Wasson, brother Marvin Blankenship of St. Louis, sister Marjorie Macy of Germantown. Graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. -8 p.m. Thursday at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home  Germantown.
