George Myers

Myers, George W. “Billy”, age 73 of Germantown passed away June 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born to the late George and Virginia (Mitchell) Myers in Maysville, KY and worked many years at Valley View High School in the maintenance department.  Billy was a member of the Germantown Eagles and loved playing music with his family in the Buddy Myers Band.  Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Rhonda Boyer in 2014.  He is survived by his wife Mary (Gudgell) Myers, his son William “Buddy” (Tina) Myers, 2 brothers Bobby (Becky) Myers and Jeff Myers, grandchildren Tonya (Ben) Ramsey, Zach Myers, and Bobbi Jo Myers, and great grandchildren Landon and Lucas Ramsey, and Aubrey Clark.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday June 22 at 10:30 AM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. Germantown with Pastor Gary Wheeler officiating.  Interment immediately following at Holp Cemetery in Farmersville.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
