Helen Cyphers

Helen M Cyphers, age 91 of West Milton, OH passed away peacefully at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County on June 25, 2024. She was born in Pleasant Hill, OH to the late Orville and Elnora (Swartz) Null, graduated from Tipp City High School, and was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corps. Helen worked as a canteen manager for the American Legion post #487, and at one time was the Commander of American Legion post #487, and the American Legion 3rd District Commander. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion and AMVETS and she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and dancing. Along with her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Dale Cyphers in 2021, and 9 siblings, she is survived by her sister Barbara Adams as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members who will miss her dearly. Helen and her husband, Dale will be laid to rest together at the Dayton National Cemetery on Thursday July 11th at 9am, where military honors will be performed.
