Herbert Boyer

Boyer, Herbert L., age 84 of Farmersville passed away at his home on December 10, 2016.  He was born to the late Eugene and Eva (Weaver) Boyer.  Herb was a graduate of Germantown High School, a Korean War veteran, and retired from Inland GM.  Herb enjoyed farming, camping at Sault St. Marie, MI and Brookville Lake, Indiana.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Norma Jean Dursch.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years Patricia (Roe) Boyer, children Robert (Brenda) Boyer, Lisa (Craig) Slater, Gene (Janice) Boyer, Matthew (Sondra) Plsek, and Teri (Les) Loranzan, his grandchildren Nicholas Jarvis, Ashley (Joseph) Smith, Robert (Robbie) Plsek, Julie (Matthew) Myers, and Les Loranzan, and great grandchildren Emma Hale, Preston Smith, and Kylie Bernier.  The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rachael Kemp for her care and kindness towards our dad.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, OH with Les (Butch) Loranzan, II officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00am.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Herbs memory to Bella Care Hospice, 7625 Paragon Rd, Suite C, Dayton, OH 45459.
