Jack Thompson

Thompson, Jack A. age 68, of Germantown passed away Friday May 5, 2006 as the result of a traffic accident. Jack was born in Middletown, OH on June 21, 1937, to the late Earl R. and Kathryn A. (Kizel) Thompson. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was employed by Sears in Middletown as a mechanic. Jack was very involved in missionary work through his church making several trips to Puerto Rico. He also was an avid fan of his grandson's soccer teams and loved being a grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Beverly S. Wagers. He is survived by his wife Wilma; son Jonathan Leo Rose; brother John A. (Rita) Hendricks, of Middletown; 2 sisters Betty Palmer and Pat (Herschel) Borders; both of Middletown; 2 grandchildren Jordan Anthony Wagers and Matthew Thomas Wagers. Friends may call Saturday May 13, 2006 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ( 2 hrs prior to the service) at the Christ United Methodist Church , 700 S. Marshall Rd., Middletown where funeral services will follow with Pastor Lisa Ellison officiating. Burial Germantown Cemetery.
