James Kraus

KRAUS, James O. age 76 of Franklin went to be with the Lord on Saturday August 18,2012. James was born in Germantown, Ohio the son of Raymond and Mary Kraus. James attended the Baptist Tabernacle. He served honorably in the United States Army and was a machinist at Certified Auto Parts of Middletown for over 30 years. James enjoyed drag racing with his partner Danny Vanderpool. James was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 53 years Shirley and one great grandchild Uriah James. He is survived by his son Doug  (Karen) Kraus of Franklin; sister June Dunn of Middletown; 4 grandchildren Jeremy (Nikki) Kraus of Germantown, Heather (Matt) Hinkle of Franklin, Seth (Sara) Kraus of Trenton and Amanda (Luke) Lykins of Lebanon; 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 l:00a.m. Wednesday August 22, 2012 at the Baptist Tabernacle, 7816 Dubois Rd. Carlisle, Ohio. Reverend Doug Kraus officiating. Burial at Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Tabernacle. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Tabernacle Teens Future Mission Trip Fund, c/o Baptist Tabernacle 7816 Dubois Rd. Carlisle, Ohio 45005. Arrangements being handled by Arpp & Root Funeral Home, Germantown.
