James McPherson

James L. McPherson, age 69 of German Twp.  passed away Wednesday April 1, 2015 at Life Care in Miamisburg. He was retired from Apex Tool & Die- Cooper with 28 years of service and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Preceded in death by his parents Millard and Thelma (Ballinger) Sims. James is survived by his wife Danita; son James (Trey) McPherson; daughter Jamie and her husband Lon Bishop; brother Millard (Gene) and his wife Tina Sims; 3 sisters, Rita Sims, Linda Bishop and Carolyn Hipsher; 3 grandchildren Sean, Kobe and Kage McPherson; great granddaughter Haylee; mother in law Carol Peck; and brother in law Kendal (Anita) Peck; along with a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. Germantown with Pastor Earl Wilcher officiating.. Interment will follow at Preble Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-8 pm.
