James Wilder

James Anthony Wilder, age 67 of Middletown, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 19, 1957 in South Lebanon, OH to the late Homer and Edith (Crockett) Wilder and lived in the Miami Valley area all his life. James graduated from Kings High School in South Lebanon, was employed in facility maintenance for Otterbein Retirement Community for 10 years, and then as a delivery driver for Fed Ex for 5 years. James was a member of the Moose Lodge #501 and was a big fan of the Cincinnati Bearcats Basketball Team. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Tammy Rose-Wilder, a baby brother, Darrell Wilder and grandson Teigen. He is survived by his five children, Jerry Keeton, James J. (Markay) Wilder, Robert (KaySi) Wilder, Jessica Wilder (Joseph Kakaris), and Whittney (Dustin) Pritchard, thirteen grandchildren, Kristopher, Riley, Allison, Brantley, Theo, Finn, Tinley, Lincoln, Christopher, Catherine, JessLynn, Enoch, Thaddeus, four brothers, Joe Wilder, Ray (Joyce) Wilder, Ed Wilder and Robert (Melissa) Wilder, two sisters Tammy Wilder and Goldie Cowgill, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 beginning at 11:00am at the Arpp, Root and Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown OH. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00pm with burial immediately following at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of Arpp, Root and Carter Funeral Home.
