Riley, Jayne D. (Barton), age 71 of Germantown, OH passed away Friday March 17, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Xenia, OH on May 3, 1945 to the late Herbert and Cletus (Cook) Barton. Jayne attended Germantown High School with fellow members of the Class of 1963 and retired from Delphi. She was married to Bill, her high school sweetheart, for 54 years and they had six children, nineteen grandchildren, and one great grandson. Jayne was an avid softball player and all around sports enthusiast who dedicated her life to supporting her children and grandchildren in all activities and interests. She was very instrumental in establishing softball programs for girls in the Germantown community and was a girls basketball coach at Valley View Jr. High School for ten consecutive years. She will be missed by family, friends and community members alike. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son Douglas B. Riley, her sisters Joan Barton and Janet (Barton) Vicroy, brother Jerry Barton, and son-in-law Brad W. Holland. She is survived by her husband Bill Riley; her daughters, Debby Holland and Dina (Mike) Gustin, sons; David Riley, Danny (Angie) Riley, and Dustin (Lisa) Riley; daughter-in-law Karen (Gisewite) Riley, grandchildren; Spencer and Taryn Holland, Logan and Mason Riley, Georgie Wilson, Jocianna Post, Christian, Chandler, Noelle and Noah Riley, Nicholas Riley, Chance O’Neal, Reese, Brelynn and Harper Riley, Courtney, Kaleb, Kody and Kaylee Gustin, great grandson Caiden Conley, sisters Joyce (Barton) Ney and Jennifer (Barton) Rickert, brother Jeff Barton and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10:00AM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown with Pastor Todd Velte officiating, interment immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday March 23 from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
