Jimmy Brown

Jimmy Brown, Sgt. First Class Ret. age 74 of Franklin passed away Friday October 11, 2013 at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Xenia, Ohio to the late Marvin and Cleo Brown. Sgt. Brown was retired from the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Carol and his second wife Dawn. He is survived by 3 grandsons, Daniel and his wife Amanda Vick, Chris Vick and James Curry, brother William and his wife Sally Brown of Xenia,   sister Betty Gee and her husband Jesse of Xenia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, Germantown. Burial will be at the Holp Cemetery in Farmersville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 (noon) until the time of the service (1 hr. prior to the  service) at the funeral home. The family suggests if so desired memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton.
