Jimmy Matthews

Jimmy L. Matthews, age 67 of Moraine, OH passed away December 30, 2022 at his home. He was born in Purcell, OK to the late Frederick and Edna (Ross) Matthews. Jimmy was a 2 year veteran for the US Marines, and a 3 year veteran of the US Army. Jimmy loved watching old war movies, fishing, and cooking. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter Angela (Chris) Ard, his brother Jerry (Sue) Booker, grandchildren Kyle Matthews, Kayla Cameron, Rachel McMahan, 4 great grandchildren, mother-in-law Mary Ray, and brother-in-law James (Melanie) Ray, his Uncle Gary Ross, as well as special friends Kelly and Paul Collins and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. There will be a graveside service with military honors at the Dayton National Cemetery on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1:00PM.
