Joan Rubenkoenig

Joan B. Rubenkoenig, age 82 of Farmersville, OH passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2024. Joan was born in Potsdam, NY, graduated from Potsdam High School, and then from Cazenovia College. Joan loved staying home with her children and working on the family farm, raising sheep and traveling around with her late husband on his motorcycle. She also enjoyed playing tennis, visiting any of the local senior centers to play cards and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Along with her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harry Rubenkoenig, and her two brothers Stanley and Jack Benjamin. She is survived by her twin sister Janet Gustafson, her daughter Susan (Eric) Holbrook, her son Harry Douglas Rubenkoenig, grandchildren Emily (Tyler) Gifford, Benjamin and Lillian Holbrook, Sophia Jay Rubenkoenig, as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends. There will be a graveside service at Holp Cemetery on Clayton Rd, Farmersville OH 45325 on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1:00PM.
