John Goad

John C. Goad,  Age 51 (born March 10, 1962), of Gratis, OH, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 18, 2013 at his residence.  John was a loving brother to, Steven D. (Patti), Brett R., and George G.; sisters, Lessia K. (David) Dilley and April K. (Randy) Brewer; loving uncle to Nicole Goad; Ross (Kim) Goad; Clinton Goad; Marcella Cassidy, Sarah and Gretchen Kelley; and Robert Brewer; loving great-uncle; and loving companions Tinkerbell and Cricket.  Preceded in death by parents, George and Dorothy Goad; brothers, Kirk D. and Rex M.; and nephew, Kirk D. “Doug” Goad.  John was a member of Local 79/50 of the Allied Asbestos Workers; American Legion Post #762; and Gratis Eagles 4289.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 21th from 4-7:30 PM at Arrp and Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St., Germantown OH, with funeral services immediately following viewing.  Burial will be at the convenience of family.
