Larry Baker

Larry G. Baker "Jitterbug", age 85 of Germantown made his last walk around on December 16, 2022 at Sycamore Hospital. Larry was born in Germantown, OH to the late Samuel and Esther (Fitzer) Baker, graduated from Germantown High School, and retired from Kroger, Miamisburg. Larry enjoyed taking walks around town, loved people and never met a stranger. He was 1 of 2 original clowns in the J.O.Y. Company, met people from all over the world, and he loved being a clown! Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Janice Turck and brother-in-law E. Barger, Jr. Larry is survived by his siblings Lauretta (Jerry) Swartzel, Gary (Jan) Baker, Sam (Mary) Baker, Kathy Barger, Lenny (Joan) Baker, a special nephew Bob Turck, friends Ben and Bertha Grauman, Rachel (JC) Keyser, Melissa (Elijah) Knuckles, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 from 10-11am at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown. Funeral services will begin at 11am with burial immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery.
