LAURA SMITH

Laura “Frances” Smith age 90 of Germantown passed away June 20, 2015 at Heartland of Miamisburg.  She was retired from Mound Laboratory and was a member of the Germantown United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband Earl in 1993 and her daughter Sandra Smith in 1964, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.  She is survived by 1 son, Earl Smith Jr.  of Germantown, 2 daughters, Linda Mathews of Dayton and Kathy Fredericksen of Arizona, 1 sister Helen Vick of North Carolina, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 25, 2015 at 12 P.M. at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home,.   Burial will take place at the Germantown Union Cemetery.   The family will greet friends from 11.00 A.M.until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Society.
