Lawrence Miller

Lawrence ( Speed) Miller,  age 98, of Germantown passed away Monday November 11, 2013 at his residence. Speed was the son of the late John and Mary (Peters) Miller. He was retired from Frigidaire, was a member of Slifers Presbyterian Church, Germantown F.& A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and the Germantown Eagles. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Hannah, brothers Clifford, Roy and Herschel, sister Loraine Huffer. He is survived by a sister Freda Friend and a nephew Rick and his wife Dawn Miller of Germantown. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, Germantown. Rev. Angie Schenck officiating, burial Holp Cemetery in Farmersville. The family will receive friends Thursday 1:00 p.m. until time of service ( 1 hr. prior) at the funeral home.
