Leonard "Doy" Neely

Leonard "Doy" Neely, age 88 of Burnside, KY, formerly of Dayton, OH passed away on February 7, 2023 at Doverwood Nursing Home in Hamilton. He was born in Livingston, TN to the late James and Beatrice (Ledbetter) Neely and retired from Dayton Press. Doy enjoyed being outside and tinkering with his cars. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Gene Neely. He is survived by his wife Deborah Neely, step-children Cynthia Soto (Tom Short), Joey (Misty) Soto, Jr., Terressa (Guy) Webb, his sister Linda Jordan, and her son Darrell, and his sister Juanita Hutchison, special nephew Doug (Marquita) Cottle, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 5-7PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown OH 45327. Graveside services will be on Friday, February 17th, 2023 at 3:00PM at Overton County Memorial Gardens, 437 Jamestown Hwy, Livingston, TN 38570.
