Lois Boyer

Lois E. Boyer, age 95 of Farmersville, OH passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Traditions of Beavercreek. She was born in Farmersville, OH to the late Robert Lawson and Mary (Smith) Lawson, graduated from Farmersville High School, class of 1946 and was a member of Farmersville United Church of Christ. Lois worked at McCalls in Dayton before becoming the Secretary at the Farmersville United Church of Christ, where she was very active in the church and the Farmersville Community and in her spare time she enjoyed reading books. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her step-mother Emma Lawson and her children Andy Boyer and Susan Elizabeth Boyer. Lois is survived by her husband of 75 years, Richard Boyer, her son Tim (Beth) Boyer and daughter Cathy Knapp (fiancé Scott), grandchildren Blake (Mariah), Cameron (Aleah), Jordan, Tyler, Patrick (Cynthia), Alan, great grandchildren Lexie and Gracie, as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Farmersville United Church of Christ on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:30am, the family will receive friends for a visitation prior to the service beginning at 11am. Lois will be laid to rest at Twin Valley Cemetery next to her children during a private family ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in memory of Lois to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, Farmersville Fire Association, C.A.M.P., or Farmersville United Church of Christ.
