Loretta Mae Gehron

Loretta Mae Gehron, age 78 of Germantown, OH passed away on July 3, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born in Middletown, OH to the late William and Bessie (Kidd) Weaver, graduated from Middletown High School Class of 1962 and was a longtime member of Germantown United Methodist Church. Loretta loved creating and had a passion for fine art and gift for oil painting. She was a natural caregiver who loved animals, friends and especially her family. She was a kind soul. She stood strong in what she believed, yet was a compassionate woman who accepted everyone. She always had a way of finding "Peace, Joy, and Love" which was her life's mantra. Along with her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her 2 brothers Ronald and Thomas Weaver, and her sister Deronda Longworth. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David Gehron, her sons Ray and Randy (Joei) Gehron, granddaughters Samantha and Abigail Gehron, step-son Richard Gehron, as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. There will be a visitation on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 6-7pm at the Germantown United Methodist Church, 525 Farmersville Pike Germantown, OH 45327. A Celebration of Life will follow beginning at 7:00PM at the church with Pastor Gary Wheeler officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the church in memory of Loretta. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff at Kettering Medical Center ICU, main campus.
