Margaret Moreland

MORELAND, Margaret C., age 95 of Eaton, formerly of Germantown, passed away Sunday April 22, 2012.  Margaret was born March 27, 1917 in Clermont Co., OH to the late Oscar & Ada (Patton) Curlis.  Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Charles Moreland and 1 sister, Irene Ranson.  Survived by 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Ada & James Grillot of OK, Mary & Maurice Dull of Gratis, Judy & Bobby Cross of Germantown; 1 son & daughter-in-law, Roy & Vicki Moreland of Sommerville; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.  Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Friday at the State Road United Methodist Church, 15020 St. Rt. 725, Germantown.  Interment Fairview Cemetery.  Pastor Patricia A. Iddings officiating.  The family will receive friends 10:00 A.M. Friday at the church until time of service.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the State Road United Methodist Church where Margaret was a long time member, or Hospice of Dayton.  Margaret was very active in the church, the school system where her children attended, and was a loving, caring person.  She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.  Arrangements by Arpp & Root Funeral Home.
