Gephart, Margie, 91, formerly of Farmersville, went home to be with the
Lord Tuesday evening, August 21 at Hillspring Nursing Home.
She was born in Gratis, OH, daughter of the late Claude and Neva (Stiver)
Kurtz. She was a member of the Farmersville United Methodist Church and
active in many women’s activities there. In addition to her parents she
was preceded in death by her husband, Gene and brother Gerald (“Butch“)
Kurtz. She is survived by daughters Linda (Tom) Jones of Cable, WI and
Carol (Jay) Root of Germantown. Her family was the light of her life.
Matt (Cara) Jones, children Oren, Neva and Emma, Melinda (E.J.) Milas and
daughters Gracie and Isabella, Kari (Jeff) Carter and daughter Cameron,
Chad (Jill) Riegel, children Cole, Kaitlyn and Cody. Sisters Dortha
(Harold)Sears of Lebanon, Joan Ward, Farmersville, special long time
friend Betty Erbaugh of Farmersville, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 27th at the
Farmersville United Methodist Church, 110 W. Center St., Pastor Patti
Matthews officiating. Burial at Preble Memory Gardens. The family will
receive friends 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday at the Arpp and Root Funeral Home,
Germantown. The Family suggests, if desired, memorial contributions may
be made to the church or to the Farmersville Fire Department. Online
