Marianne Linebaugh

Marianne H. Linebaugh, age 84 of Farmersville passed away peacefully on December 20, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Farmersville, OH to the late Harold and Alice (Hollenbaugh) Hoops, graduated from Farmersville High School, and received a certificate in administration from Miami Jacobs College. Marianne was a lifelong member of Farmersville United Church of Christ, where at one time she was the choir director and also helped teach Bible school. Marianne enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and baking and before becoming a full time mother to 4 daughters, she also worked for DP&L. Marianne is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harry Linebaugh, her daughters Cathy (Paul) Boston, Carrie Hezeltine (Jeff Boll), Ellen (David) Ratay, Amy Linebaugh, grandchildren Michael Hurley, Jennifer (Dennis) Kelly, Megan, Justin and Jacob Hezeltine, Morgan Wyant, Jocelyn Ratay, Alex (Natasha) Ratay, Rachael (Ryan) Schilling, 4 great grandchildren, her sister Martha Sue Owen and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her sweet spirit dearly. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 11-12PM at the Farmersville United Church of Christ, 42 S. Broadway St. Farmersville, OH 45325. Funeral services will begin at 12:00PM with Pastor Susan Hartman officiating, burial will be at Holp Cemetery immediately following the service.
