Mary Boyer

Boyer, Mary J. age 78 of Germantown passed away Saturday July 3, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. Mary was born in Galion, Ohio on January 22, 1932 to the late Ray and Ila (Bilger) Houk. Mary was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and was retired from Miami Valley Hospital were she worked in the Finance Department. She is survived by her husband Paul, 3 sons and their wives Robert ( Peggy) Boyer of Germantown; James ( Janet) Boyer of Germantown and Dwight (Vicki) Boyer of Miamisburg., daughter Shirley and her husband ( Jim) Kraus of Franklin, brothers Don Houk and Noel Houk, sisters Vera Baker and Kay Vanderkooi, sister in law Virginia Bell, 8 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. (noon) Wednesday July 7, 2010 at St. John's United Church of Christ 201 W. Market St. Germantown, Pastor Larry Grunden officiating. Burial Germantown Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Wednesday (2 hrs prior to service) at the Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dayton or St. John's U.C.C. Arrangements being handled by Arpp & Root Funeral Home, Germantown.
