Long, Mary Lou, age 87 passed away November 8th, 2017. Mary was born in Dayton, OH to the late Harry Sr. and Velma Crowe. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She especially enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Some of her favorite activities included watching her grandchildren play sports, attending family gatherings, and shopping. She also enjoyed her Thursday afternoon lunches with close friends at KJs in Germantown. For many years Mary worked as a guidance secretary at Madison High School where she frequently volunteered her time to run the school’s concession stand during sporting events. Mary was known for her generosity and compassion for others. She was incredibly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Paul Long, her son Stephen, and her sister Betty. She is survived by her son Kevin (Jamie) Long, grandkids Amara (Mike) Young, Stephanie Williams, Dannye Ravenscraft, Jacob Long, Adrianne Miller, Aaron Miller, and great grandchildren Michael and Landon Young and Lawson Weelen, along with 2 brothers, Harry Crowe Jr., Jerry Crowe, and her sister Brenda Rhule. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 at 12:00PM. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service beginning at 10 AM. Interment immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery.
