Shuey, Pearl, age 98 of Germantown passed away peacefully at home on October 6, 2020. She was born to the late Fred and Gertrude (Staton) Brown and loved quilting, spending time with her family and gardening, she was even awarded the City Beautiful award in Germantown more than once! Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Shuey, her children Wendell Center, Patricia Edwards, Carolyn Gonzalez, and grandchildren Diana Stone and Robbie Center. Pearl is survived by her children Barbara Stone, Pamela Adams, and Terri (Craig) House, her sister Colleen Gibson and brother Willis Brown, multiple grandchildren with a special mention to her grandson Brian (Jenny) Stone and great grandson Bryson, who cared for her until Jesus took her into his arms with granddaughter Mindy (Mike Oliver) and great grandson Tyler McGhee by her side, and Jack Smith who continually stopped by to see his grandma and always made her smile. Also survived by great grandchildren, and numerous extended friends and family including Mark and Markus Hunter, and a special mention to Barbara Sanders who helped care for her. There will be a graveside service on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 2:00PM at the Germantown Union Cemetery, 11177 W. Market Street, Germantown with Pastor Ruby Harp officiating.
