Peggy Keister

Keister, Peggy Y., age 88 of Middletown passed away November 11, 2016 at the Atrium Medical Center.  She was born in Dayton, OH to the late George and Suda May (Campbell) Landrum.  Peggy was a member of Union Chapel Church where she was the president of 4F for over 20 years.  She was also a Girl Scout leader and a Cub Scout leader for many years.  Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Keister in 1987, son Harold, daughter in law Sandy  and a Great Grandson Jameson Stipp.  She is survived by her son James Robert (Becky) Keister, her 3 daughters Claudiea (Greg) Wombold, Kristine (Chester) Belue, Kathy (John) Stubbs, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N Main St.  Germantown with Reverend Dr. L.D. Ervin, Pastor officiating.  Interment immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donation can be made to the charity of your choice in Peggy’s memory.
