Phyllis Joan Blair

Phyllis J. Blair, age 94 of Germantown, OH passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Stoney Ridge Senior Living in Miamisburg. She was born in Carey, OH on November 1, 1927 to the late Wm J. Bair and Mona J. (Gamble) Bair. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, H. Donald Blair, and two brothers. Dr. Wm. J. Bair, Jr. and Robert D. Bair.

Phyllis is survived by her three children, Karla S. (Don) Huntsberger, Rebecca L. (Kenneth) Rieger, and Brice D. (Michele) Blair; seven grandchildren, Ana Jane (Patrick Horan) Huntsberger, Jacob Huntsberger, Jessica (Michael) Inclema, Megan (Tim) Johnson, Wesley (Brittany) Rieger, Ellisen Blair, and Henry Blair; six great-grandchildren, Korbin, Greyson, Rose, Ryah, Coco, Lorenzo, and step-great granddaughter, Lindsey Horan.

A resident of Germantown for over 50 years, Phyllis was a member of the Germantown United Methodist Church and served as secretary for 15 years when the church was known as Good Shepherd UMC. She was an active member of the Germantown Senior Center where she enjoyed calling Bingo and playing Euchre.

Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family and was always happy to receive out-of-town visitors, especially her brothers, their wives, and her nieces and nephews. Along with reading, camping, traveling, and making new friends, Phyllis was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes football fan and tried to catch every televised game.

Phyllis' family will fondly remember her love, her keen sense of humor, wit, and indefatigable strength and spirit. May she rest in peace.
