Phyllis Diver, age 93 of Marion, OH, formerly of Germantown, OH went home to be with her Lord peacefully on March 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Centerville, OH to the late Raymond and Ethel (Mahan) Cook. Phyllis was a life long member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she was active in various ministries, including the Dorcas Society and vacation bible school. Phyllis enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with her family and friends. She looked forward to her grandson, Jason's, frequent visits and faithful caregiving through the years. Phyllis and her late husband, Richard, owned and operated the KOA Campground in Mt. Gilead, OH for 15 years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Diver, daughters Lynn Diver Combs, Cherie Diver, and her grandsons Curtis and Chane Combs. Phyllis is survived by her children Connie (Tom) Shaffer, Jennie (Robert) Wehr, John (Rebecca) Diver, grandchildren Jason (Rita) Webb, Erin (Chris) Byrnes, Adam (Kelli) Shaffer, Joan Wehr, Emma Wehr (Paul Sylvester), Johnna (Jonathan) Reeves, 11 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, her brother Kenneth Cook and sister Ellen Jane (Richard) Beals, and numerous extended family members and dear friends. There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Arpp, Root and Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown OH 45327. Funeral services will be private with Pastor Gary Wheeler officiating, and Phyllis will be laid to rest at Germantown Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to the International Relief Organization Samaritan's Purse in memory of Phyllis.
