Richard Cowgill Jr.

Cowgill, Richard Francis, Jr., born July 3, 1960, beloved son of the late Richard Francis Cowgill, Sr. and Alberta Dorothy Cowgill (Rose) went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2019. He leaves behind four sisters, Dorothy Huffman and spouse Ray, Darlene Whitlock and spouse James, Debbie Ray and spouse Jimmy, along with sister Penny Cowgill and deceased sister Jennifer Cowgill. He also leaves son Richard Francis Cowgill, lll, and daughters Michelle Burnett and Jessica Lewis and granddaughter Alaina Michelle Grace Lewis. There are also many nieces and nephews along with a life long friend Paula Foust. He enjoyed the outdoors, the Bengals, spending quality time with Ray Ray and deceased cousin Michael Cowgill (son of Debbie Ray) and especially his dog Buddy. His final days were cared for by very skilled and caring Hospice of Hamilton, Fort Hamilton Hospital, Glen Meadows Nursing facility and Dr. Sargero. He will be buried with full military honors at the Dayton National Military Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio March 25, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.. In the words of St. Francis Xavier,”the body will meet the soul at the end of time, and will be made whole.” He will then meet face to face with everyone. Richie speaks to us to do our earthly deeds for he will wait for us to come and it will be a great joy for him to see us come and be with him.
