Richard "Doug" Morton

Richard Douglas Morton "Doug", age 71 of Germantown, OH passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2023 at his home. He was born in Dayton, OH to the late John and Velma (Slyder) Morton, graduated from Valley View High School class of 1970, and retired from J.R. Jurgensen. Doug enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Along with his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his brothers Mike and Donnie Morton, he is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, Helen (Buchanan) Morton, his daughter Lindsay Morton, son Jesse Morton (Kacee Pugh), grandchildren Colin Burger, Caleb Burger, Hayden Wilson, Ophelia Morton, Lillie Olding, his sister Gail (Denny) McQueen, brother Jack Morton, as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 1-4PM at the Germantown Eagles 1273 W. Market St. Germantown, OH 45327.
