Neatherton, Richard Steven (Dick) Age 72 of Germantown, formerly of Xenia, Ohio passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. Richard was born November 11, 1941 in Xenia,
Ohio to the late Steven and Lillian Neatherton. Richard attended Germantown High School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He worked 10 years as an Operating Engineer and was a member for 50 years. He retired after 29 years from the The Dupps Company. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father Carl Miller and his brothers-in-law Ray Taxis and Jim
Bradley. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Dixie (Rauch) Neatherton, his son Robert Steven
(Bekah) Neatherton and his daughter Susan Elaine (Jeff) Cotterman, grandchildren; Justin Griffiths, Jacob and Jessica Neatherton, Megan, Mitchell and Matthew Cotterman. Also his mother-in-law Dolores Rauch, his sisters-in-law Carolyn (Keith) Sommer of Martins Ferry Ohio, and Vickie Slaton of Germantown, his sisters, Shirley Bradley of Walnut Creek Nursing Center and June Taxis of Dayton, many nephews and nieces and many Germantown friends. Funeral services will be Thursday,February 13 at 10:30 a.m.at Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. Germantown with Pastor Rich Luh and Pastor Tim Woodward officiating. Burial at Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. .
