Richard "Dick" Hewitt

Hewitt, Richard L. “Dick”, age 84 of Germantown passed away June 26, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton.  He was born in Germantown, OH to the late James and Gladys (Deeton) Hewitt.  Dick enjoyed his work as a farmer and loved animals, especially his dog Moose.  While spending time with friends and family, Dick would always say that he was fortunate in life because he got to do what he enjoyed.  He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Martha (Stiver) Hewitt, his daughter Debby (Jim) Wysong, his two sons Jim (Lynne) Hewitt, and Tim (Diane) Hewitt, and grandchildren Rory Wysong, Rose Hewitt and Chad Hewitt.  There will be private services at the convenience of the family at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dayton.
