Robert Long

Robert E. Long "Bob", age 79, of Franklin, OH passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born in Middletown, OH to the late Donald E. and Marie (Richardson) Long. Bob graduated from Franklin High School, class of 1962, was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, and retired from CVS after 33 years. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother Eugene Long, and his son in law Michael Perry. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lettie (Hampton) Long, his children Vicky Perry, Bill (Stephanie) Long, James (Angie) Long, grandchildren Tommy (Kimberly) Perry, David Perry, Heather (Dennis) Schirtzinger, Kayla (Joe) Back, Bryce Long, 7 great grandchildren, his sister Donna Bouchard, as well as numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 1-2PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, OH 45327. Funeral services will being at 2PM and Bob will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery, that date will be announced once scheduled.
