Roy Hipsher received the rest his organs needed on November 26th, 2023 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born July 22, 1953 in Middletown, OH to the late J. and Julia (Hilliard) Hipsher.
Roy had a passion for the outdoors, he loved fishing, feeding the squirrels, and tending to his succulents. Roy's creative endeavors included woodworking and model car assembly. While relaxing at the kitchen table, you would find him playing solitaire, or working a crossword puzzle as he watched his favorite TV shows, usually westerns, wrestling, or action fantasy. Thanksgiving and family birthdays won't be the same without his turkey, ham, or fried chicken.
Roy was a very giving person, even unto death for his tissue and cornea were donated to help those suffering from burns, trauma, and cancer.
To cherish his memory, Roy leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years Alberta Ann; son (little) Roy (Kari) Clark, daughter Sue (Tim) Hezlep, and son Wayne Stacy; granddaughters Lee-Ann, Molly, Kylee, Peyton; grandson Michael (Aspin); sisters Dolly DeBord and Marsha Jo Lainhart; brothers J.J., Derek, and Matthew Hipsher; nieces and nephews; and aunt Carolyn Hipsher (& Family).
The last three weeks of Roy's journey would have not been possible without the love and support of our colleagues, friends, and neighbors. In addition, we owe many thanks to the medical team at Cincinnati's Christ Hospital, especially CV-ICU nurses and palliative team. No services are scheduled at this time.
